1. Analysis of the performance during the March quarter 

Let’s first start with the national average: price is 1,637 /m² end of June 2019: Spanish real estate prices rose

  • by +3.1% (+4.4% last quarter) during the last year from €1,588 /m²
  • by +0.1% (+1.1% last quarter) during the last quarter

 

As you can see the real estate prices increase in Spain is accelerating. On the other side, demand is really strong: we have the highest transaction number over the last 10 years: 583,345 properties were sold during the last year to March 2019, a 7.6% year on year growth.

 

The lowest price reached since the financial crisis of 2007 is 1,456/m² in the third quarter of 2014 while the highest is €2,101.4/m² in the first quarter of 2008.
